According to a message from mobile phone component manufacturers, HTC is currently making a mobile phone for Google and is expected to officially launch it at the end of 2007.
The message also said that Google's mobile phone shipments are expected to reach 1 million by the end of the year, which will be launched on the global market in 2008.
It is reported that Google Mobile will support Texas Instruments 3G and EDGE platforms, but not GPS. In addition, Google Mobile has built-in G-mail and Google search services.
Industry analysts believe that the first partner of Google's mobile phone business will be the European telecom operator Orange, and Google has signed supply agreements with many other operators.
Mobile phone component manufacturers also said that in the future Google mobile phones will use dual-trademark (Google trademark and telecom operator trademark), but Google mobile phones will not have HTC International logo.
HTC International did not comment on this report in a timely manner.
