1. Enter prompt status

2. Access to privileged mode.

3. Use the show Running-config command to display the currently active router configuration.

4. Display the configuration stored in NVRAM using the show Start-config command

5. Save the currently active configuration to NVRAM.

6. Display the configuration currently saved in NVRAM

7. Suppose we decide to erase the configuration currently saved in NVRAM and reload the router, using the Erase startup-config command.

8. Now that we have removed the configuration, the router prompts us to save the current active configuration before reloading and select No.

9. after reboot, take a look at the Startup-configur.

now modify the name of the router to R1.

Modified, reload, prompts whether to save, select Yes.
