CitrixVDI5. Upload the physical machine system to the Virtual Disk
The purpose of this article is to assume that we have installed various software for the XP machine, so what we need to do is to upload our system to the disk and then use the disk to start subsequent virtual desktops.
We can also say that our XP is a physical template and the mother of all virtual desktops!
Click provisioning serverimage builder. This is what the system has after the target is installed.
The source and destination are identified by default. The source is the entire c disk and the destination is our virtual disk. check the delete all files and folders in destination path before building image option to delete all files and folders in the destination, that is, all files and folders in the E disk. Check the box. In fact, we have already formatted the file and there is no need, but choose it. The default one is for the sake of insurance.
Click OK to start uploading to the edisk

OK. The upload is complete.
After the upload is complete, go back to the PVS server console, click STOR, and mail managelocks, because the storage is locked when we used the upload.
Click Remove locks to unlock. After unlocking, a figure shows no lock option. Click Close.
Then, we click stor storage, right-click the attribute, select editfile, and select standimage mode in mode. During the upload, we use the default private image mode. Now we change it to stand mode, prepare for the subsequent creation of virtual desktops, because the subsequent creation of virtual desktops requires that our disks be in stand mode!
