Source: Internet
Author: User

Here is a simple solution to clean up the outdated or deprecated icon cache in the Windows notification area icon so that it is no longer displayed in the list of Control Panel/all Control Panel items/notification area icons:

Download the bat file, and then execute it. If you see a secure confirmation window, click "Run" (because this file is downloaded from the Internet)

Download files

In a flash, the explorer process is ended and then restarted (this process).

After scavenging, all settings are restored to their default values, and the icon cache for the system notification area is reset.
