Cloning is a special technology in painter, it can make the image to achieve the artistic effect more quickly, it is a good helper of image processing.
Although more and more professional illustrators are using cloning to improve work efficiency, but in the preliminary learning stage of hand-painted exercises, it is best to use less cloning, or just self-deception.
For most brushes in painter, you can clone the painting as long as you select the Clone Color option. Note that you must first clone the source file, and you cannot close the clone source diagram.
Let's take a practical example to see the use of cloning techniques in painter 8.
1. Open painter 8 software, press "Ctrl+o" key combination to open a picture (shown in Figure 2.1.1.1), to "File menu", click the Execution "clone" (clone) menu command. (as shown in Figure 2.1.1.2)
2. To clone the file, press "CTRL + a" key combination select all, then press "Backspace" key to clear the canvas. (as shown in Figure 2.1.2)
3. Select the brush variant of "pastel"/"Artist pastel Chalk" (Chalk/artist chalk). (shown in Figure 2.1.3.1) to the "Colors" (color panel) Click the Stamp icon button for clone color. (Figure 2.1.3.2) executes the menu commands for "effects"/"Esoterica"/"Auto Clone" (Effect/effects/automatic cloning). (as shown in Figure 2.1.3.3)
