1) The installation path is different from the previous one.
2) No environment variables are configured after installation.

1. Problems Encountered during installation, causes, and solutions; 1) Execution of Cloudera-manager-install Error

Original cause: the File Upload format is incorrect (non-binary );
Solution: Upload the Cloudera-manager-install file in binary format;

2) errors reported during JDK Installation

Original cause: DNS resolution is incorrect, unable to access the path: http://mirrorlist.centos.org /? Release = 6 & arch = x86_64 & repo = OS;
Solution: edit/etc/resolv. conf and add nameserver 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS, you can also set other DNS );

3) unable to start Cloudera Manager Agent

Original cause: the host IP address and name cannot be resolved;
Solution: edit the Host file and add the local IP address and name.

Reason: not found
Solution: restart and install the agent;

5) unable to start Hive

Original cause: the system is not clean. For example, the JDK environment variable path is incorrect;
Solution: Clear all environment variables and configure them;

2. After installation is successful;

1) After the installation path is different from the previous after installation path, such as the Directory is missing part of the file; for example, hive path:/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-4.2.0-1.cdh4.2.0.p0.10/lib/hive;
