Cloudera's QuickStart VM-installation-free and configuration-free Hadoop Development Environment

Cloudera's QuickStart VM is a virtual machine environment that helps you build CDH 5.x, Hadoop, and Eclipse for Linux and Hadoop without installation and configuration. After downloading and decompressing, you can directly start the Hadoop 2.x execution environment on any virtual machine such as VirtualBox, VMWare, Docker, and KVM. You can use the Eclipse development tool in the built-in local mode to develop and execute Hadoop programs.

The virtual machine must have at least 4 GB memory, and some functions must have 8 GB memory.

If VirtualBox is selected, click "pull in application device" to download the. ovf file.

This Hadoop 2.6.0/CDH 5.5.0 environment is running in "Pseudo-distributed Cluster", that is, multiple Java processes are used to simulate the operation in a real cluster environment.
