Eclipse's code hints by default are crawling Oracle's official online java-docs, and then doing the appropriate processing. You can download the Java-docs that corresponds to the JDK version yourself, and then modify the configuration of Eclipse to use the code hinting function offline.
Step: 1. DownloadJava SE Development Kit 8u45 Documentation and JavaFX API documentation: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/documentation/jdk8-doc-downloads-2133158.html
2. Extract two compressed packets to two directories after download
3. Open Eclipse's Window/preferences
4. Open java/installed jres/jre1.8.0_45 (default)/Edit
5. In JRE System libraries: Modify the Javadoc location of the C:\Program Files\java\jre1.8.0_45\lib\*.jar to the JDK folder you extracted in the second step, for example, \ Program Files\java\jre1.8.0_45\lib\resources.jar,Javadoc Location modified toD:\cmicat\books\Developer_Document\java\java official Document\jdk-8u45-docs-all\docs\api
will beC:\Program Files\java\jre1.8.0_45\lib\ext\*.jarJavadoc location is modified to the JavaFX folder you extracted in the second step .For example, for C:\Program Files\java\jre1.8.0_45\lib\ext\jfxrt.jar,Javadoc Location modified toD:\cmicat\books\Developer_Document\java\java official Document\javafx-8u45-apidocs\api
