Color name-RGB value table

On the HTML page, you can specify the color in two ways-a color name or a number that represents the RGB color value. An RGB color value is composed of three two hexadecimal numbers, representing the color intensity respectively.

For example, the color value # ff0000 is rendered in red because the Red value reaches the maximum value FF (equal to decimal 255 ).

When you use it! When the doctype declaration is set to standard compatibility mode, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and later versions will ignore the style sheet declaration that does not comply with level 1 of style sheet (CSS. According to CSS 1, the color specified by the hexadecimal RGB value must contain the leading "#" character. Values such as "ffffff" will be ignored rather than understood as "# ffffff" (that is, white), but earlier versions of Internet Explorer understand this. This affects all attributes that accept color values.

Note: Although these color names may not be used by other browsers, the RGB color values should be correctly displayed in different browsers. To specify a color value for a Web page that spans different browsers, use the RGB color value.

The following table lists the colors supported by Internet Explorer 4.0.
