Command for counting the number of rows in the query result on linux-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. Previously, when using grep to query results, you had to calculate the number of results each time. It was very primitive! Today, I checked and found that it was actually quite simple. I didn't pay attention to the wc command before. With this command, it would be very easy to use pipelines for statistics.

For example, you can query the number of connections from the local machine to port 3307 as follows:

Netstat-an | grep '000000' | grep-v '0. 0.0.0 '| wc-l

Grep-v removes unnecessary rows.

Wc-l is calculated by row

In this way, the result is displayed in 42 rows.
