Unable to install sqlserver-command line option syntax error prompt
When installedProgramInstall:
The installer is installing the MS data access component.
The screen prompts an error:
Command Line option syntax error, TYPE command /? For help
Click "OK" to continue. The result is:
The installer is installing HTML Help.
The prompt "HTML Help 1.32 update error" dialog box appears:
Command Line option syntax error, TYPE command /? For help
Then I click "OK" to continue. The installer starts to copy the file. After copying the file, an error message is displayed:
Cannot find the dynamic Connection Library sqlunirl. dll (sqlunirl. dll is a component of MDAC), in the specified path
Click OK to stop running the installation program and check the Installation Log.
Solution:
The cause is that the installation file of sqlserver is stored in the Chinese directory.
Copy the Installation File of sqlserver to the English directory and install it.
For example:
D: \ Software \ sqlserver
Remove "software" from.
Note: Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) is a Microsoft database access component. netpise and many database software require MDAC to be installed on the operating system. Many users already have MDAC in their operating systems, some of which are built in the operating system and some are installed in other applications.
Supplementary method (not tested)
1. reinstall MDAC
2. Modify the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ setup
Delete predictioncomponents
Restart and install.
In many cases, the first step is not required.
