command to format a USB flash drive under Linux

A period of time before the LiveCD burned to the USB flash drive for installation, the installation found that the system recognized the total capacity of the USB drive is smaller, so it needs to be reformatted.

1. Plug in the USB drive and enter the command in the Command Line window to list the disk partitions:

sudo fdisk-l

Then find your own USB stick in it. My USB flash drive is said to be:/DEV/SDB1

2. Uninstalling the USB flash drive

sudo umount/dev/sdb1

3. Format the USB stick as FAT32 format

sudo mkfs.vfat/dev/sdb1

So it's done. Then, if you need to use a USB stick, unplug it and plug it in, or mount it with the Mount command.
