Common Cisco router commands

After the update is completed today, a long Cisco router command is divided into three articles, which will be helpful for users to read and hope that everyone can get the result from it, I believe these articles will certainly help some people.

I. Starting with the Cisco router command M:
Mbranch traces the multicast address down to the terminal
Media-type defines the Media type
Metric holddown isolates the new IGRP route selection information from the currently used IGRP route selection information for a period of time
Mrbranch routes the upstream DNS multicast address to the branch end
Mrinfo obtains the neighbor and version information from the multicast router.
Mstat displays statistics after multiple route traces of multicast addresses

2. Start with Cisco router command N:
Name-connection: Name an existing network connection
Enable/disable the Ncia Server
The Network allocates a NIC-based address to a router directly connected to it and associates the Network with the routing selection process of an IGRP In the IPX router configuration mode, enable enhanced IGRP on the network
Network specifies a CIDR Block directly connected to the vro.
Network-number specifies a directly connected Network
No shutdown open a closed Interface

Iii. Start with Cisco router command P:
Pad starts an X.29 PAD connection
Permit is used to set conditions for a named ip acl.
Ping sends ICMP response data packets to another node on the network to check the accessibility and network connectivity of the host to diagnose the basic connectivity of the network.
Ping to send echo requests to diagnose basic network connectivity
Ppp starts IETF Point-to-Point Protocol
Ppp authentication starts the Challenge Handshake authentication Protocol (CHAP) or password authentication protocol (PAP) or both, and specifies the order of CHAP and PAP authentication selected on the interface.
Ppp chap hostname when CHAP is used for authentication, create a batch of dial-up routers that appear to be the same host
Ppp chap password sets a password, which is sent to the Host Command for authentication on the vro to limit the number of user names/passwords that enter the vro
Ppp pap sent-username enables remote PAP support for an interface, and sent-username and password are used during the verification of PAP requests to packets at the same layer.
Protocol defines an IP routing Protocol, which can be RIP, IGRP, OSPF, or enhanced IGRP.
Pwd displays the current device name

4. Start with Cisco router command R:
Shut down Reload and perform cold start; restart the Operating System
Rlogin opens an active network connection
The Router uses the IP routing protocol defined in the first item as the routing process. For example, the router rip selects RIP as the routing protocol.
Router igrp starts an IGRP route selection process
Router rip selects RIP as the Routing Protocol
Rsh executes a remote command

V. Starting with Cisco router command S:
Sdlc sends SDLC test frames
Send message on tty line
Service password-encryption encrypt the password

Show Displays running system information
Show access-lists displays the content of all the ACLs currently.
Show buffers
Show cdp entry displays information about adjacent devices listed in the CDP table.

Show dialer displays general diagnostic information for the serial interface set for DDR (digital data receiver)
Show flash displays the layout and content information of flash memory.
Show frame-relay LMS displays statistics about local management interfaces (LMS ).
Show frame-relay map displays the current ing entry and information about the connection.
Show frame-relay pvc displays statistics about the permanent virtual circuit (pvc) of the frame relay interface
Show hosts displays the Host Name and Address cache list
Show interfaces: displays the statistics of all interfaces configured on routers and access servers.
Show interfaces: displays the status of all interfaces configured on the vro
Show interfaces serial displays information about a serial port
Show ip interface: A Summary of IP information and status of an interface
Show ip interface lists the interface status and global Parameters
Show ip protocols displays the parameters and current status of the active Routing Protocol process
Show ip route displays the current status of the route Selection table
Show ip router displays IP route table information
Show ipx interface displays the status of the IPX interface set by Cisco IOS software and the parameters in each interface
Show ipx route: displays the content of the IPX route selection table.
Show ipx servers: Display IPX Server LIST
Show ipx traffic displays the number and type of data packets.
Show isdn active displays the information of the current call, including the called number, the time spent before the connection is established, and the automatic operation control (AOC) used during the call) the charging unit and whether AOC information is provided during the call and when the call ends
Show isdn ststus displays the status of all isdn interfaces, the status of a specific digital signal Link (DSL), or the status of a specific isdn Interface
Show memory displays the vro memory size, including the idle memory size.
Show processes
Show protocols display set protocols
Show protocols displays the configured protocol. This command displays the status of any layer-7 protocol configured
Show running-config displays the current configuration information in RAM
Show spantree displays the Spanning Tree information about a virtual LAN (VLAN ).
Show stacks monitors and interrupts the program's use of the stack, and displays the cause of the last system restart
Show startup-config: displays the startup configuration file in NVRAM.
Show ststus displays the current status of the ISDN line and two B Channels
Show version displays the system hardware configuration, software version, name and source of the configuration file, and boot image.

Vi. Starting with Cisco router command T:
Telnet to enable a telect connection
Term ip specifies the network mask format of the current session
Term ip netmask-format specifies the network mask display format in the show command output.
Timers basic controls the time interval at which IGRP sends update information.

7. Start with Cisco router command V:
Username password specifies the password used during CHAP and PAP caller Authentication
Verify flash files

8. Start with Cisco router command W:
