Oracle's cluster management software and databases are very dependent on the private network, and many cluster problems can be attributed to the network level at the end.
It is necessary to check the network information when there is a problem with the cluster.
1. Check the MTU size to verify that all nodes have the same MTU size for both public and private network cards
Netstat-in (note MTU value)
2. Node connectivity check at least two times check public and private networks separately
Ping-s [MTU Size]-c [Send message Count]-I [Source IP address] [target host]
3. Verify the private network configuration using Traceroute
traceroute-s [Source private network IP address]-r-f [target node private network hostname] [package size 1472]
If there is a failure, the failure message * or! H
4. Use the ping command to check if the scan VIP host name resolves to the correct scan IP
Ping-s [MTU Size]-C [number of sending packets]-I [Source node IP address] [scan name]
5. Use Nslookup to confirm that DNS resolves the VIP and scan correctly
nslookup [VIP node name or scan name]
6. Check the order of domain name resolution via file/etc/nsswitch.conf
7. Check the local/etc/hosts file configuration
