Common Linux Shell shortcuts

 

Some terminal shortcut keys:

CTRL + F	Forward one character
CTRL + B	Move one character behind
CTRL + E	Move to end of line
CTRL + L	Clear Screen
CTRL + d	Delete current character
CTRL + T	Change character
CTRL + V	Enter special characters
Alt + u	Change all characters to lowercase words
Alt + L	Change all characters to uppercase words
Alt + c	Change the current character to uppercase
CTRL + k	Cut the characters from the current position of the cursor to the end position
CTRL + u	Cut the characters from the current position of the cursor to the start position
CTRL + W	Cut a character before the cursor
CTRL + d	Cut a character behind the cursor
CTRL + Y	Paste
CTRL + c	Delete the entire line of text
