Common trouble-shooting method for needle printer ribbon

Everyone in the use of stylus printer, the most common is the color belt fault, the following author will be a simple introduction and solve several needle printer color belt common fault.

1, Ribbon break

The tensile force of the ribbon is too large, pull off the suture line or the word Hammer rotten Ribbon caused the ribbon to break. In the former case, the fracture part can be cut off and stitched well, and the latter is only replaced with a ribbon.

2, color band is card

Ribbon edge off silk, fluff easily wrapped around the color belt wheel, leading to color belt wheel is card, color belt can not be normal retract color belt box. The solution is to open the printer cover first, and turn the ribbon arm and the hammer row interlock handle open, ribbon box in the Ribbon end will be gently pull back, and then the color belt with the rotary arm and Hammer row interlock handle, power supply, the machine in the self-test after the ribbon will be loaded back to the color belt box.

3. Hall effector Damage

Cassette with frequent ribbons, the hall effector continues to be squeezed, causing damage and breakage. This failure can only be replaced with a ribbon arm assembly or a ribbon motion sensor.

4, color belt driving belt wear or break

This failure is due to the use of too long drive belt or character chain friction drive belt. The solution is to adjust the position of the character chain so that it no longer rubs the drive belt;

5, color Belt motion sensing signal interruption

First check the color belt motion sensing signal line is damaged, if broken please replace the signal line; again, check the J6 socket on the interlock switch on the ribbon motion sensing signal line is damaged or bad contact, please replace or plug the signal line
