ActiveX malicious code
ActiveX control items can be used by Web developers to create interactive dynamic Web pages with richer functions, such as HouseCall and Trend Micro free online scanning programs. ActiveX Control item is a component object embedded in a Web page. It is started when a user views a Web page. In many cases, you can set the browser security settings of a Web browser to "high" to stop executing these ActiveX control items. However, hackers, virus writers, and other malicious people may use ActiveX malicious code as a weapon to attack computers. You must delete them to remove malicious ActiveX control items.
Alias
There are no naming rules for viruses and malicious code. Each virus may have multiple names or aliases. See the description of the rule for naming Trend Micro viruses in virus types.
Start the magnetic zone Virus
The disk boot disk or partition table is infected with the launch disk of the disk. Computer systems are most vulnerable to magnetic zone-type virus attacks, if you use a poisoned disk to boot ...... Even if the boot fails, the hard drive is infected with viruses. In addition, there are a few viruses that can infect the boot magnetic zone from the execution file-these viruses are known as compound viruses, but they are rare. Once the system is infected, initiating the magnetic zone virus will attempt to infect each disk on the computer. Generally, most of the magnetic zone viruses can be completely cleared.
Date Detected
The date on which a virus is first detected.
Description
This is a concise summary of the viruses listed in the Trend virus encyclopedia. Click the "Tech Details" label to obtain a technical description of a virus.
Destructive virus
In addition to self-replication, some viruses are vulnerable to virus infection. A virus is a type of damage that can cause damage to your system, such as file destruction or deletion, hard disk formatting, and DoS attacks.
Encrypted Virus
A virus contains special programs that can encrypt the virus code itself to avoid detecting the virus software. The anti-virus product of Trend Microa has the ability to decrypt the virus code and detect the virus.
Executable Virus
The execution file virus is infected with the execution file (usually the file named. com or. exe ). Most of these viruses attempt to replicate and spread by infecting other host programs-but some will cause damage to the original program because of overwriting the original program code. Is a small part of the virus very destructive? A tries to format the hard disk or execute some other malicious actions at the preset time. In many cases, the execution file virus can be completely cleared from the poisoning file. If the virus already overwrites a program code, the original file cannot be restored.
Virus distribution list
A list of viruses widely infected with users' computers is included in the list. This list is maintained and updated by anti-virus researcher Joe Wells. In addition to regularly updating this list, Wells also works closely with anti-virus research groups around the world, including Trend Micro. When ICSA guides virus testing for antivirus products, the "spread out" list is used as the basis for comparative analysis.
