Comparing traditional IT and enterprise 2.0 application features

Last week at csdnEnterprise Web 2.0(Also knownEnterprise 1, 2.0There is a report in the workshop. I will add one of the most important slides and sort them as follows. According to my observations, the development of enterprise 2.0, even in the United States, is still in its early stages, equivalent to SOA two or three years ago. Compared with Web 2.0, which has already been hyped over, the market is still the place and opportunity for isV vendors. Many innovative inventions are yet to appear. (currently, Wiki has been exposed, tagging, collaboration, and RSS are just the tip of the iceberg ).

The 6th items in the table above indicate that traditional IT applications (ERP, CRM, SCM, HR, SFA ,...) And Enterprise 2.0 applications (Bea is called situational applications (situational applications, I personally think it is quite appropriate), there is a relationship between center vs. Edge, which I wrote in my previous post.

Additionally, SOA and enterprise 2.0 do not conflict with each other, but are actually complementary. SOA and Web 2.0 (including Web 2.0 in the enterprise or consumer field) are parallel trends. They are similar in the technologies and features used.
