1. Set up the Perl runtime environment. ActivePerl can be used in windows. After installation, check whether the path contains the perl directory, or if the environment is successfully set up by hitting Perl-H in the console. 2. Compile a Perl program. A simple one is as follows:

#! /Usr/bin/perl
Use strict;
Use warnings;
My $ status;
### Die this directory
$ Status = system ("dir> dirhere. log ");
If ($ status! = 0)
{
Print "dir failed ";
Exit-1;
}
Print "$ status: Dir success \ n ";
$ Status = system ("notepad.exe dirhere. log ");
Print "\ n see opened log \ n ";
If ($ status! = 0)
{
Print "failed to open log file ";
Exit-1;
}
Exit 0;

3. Open the console and switch the directory to your Perl program directory, and then tap Perl yourperlfile. pl.
