Complete experience with the cold door security software AS Anti-Virus

AS Anti-Virus (Aosheng Anti-VirusIs a security software from the United States. It uses the F-prot engine to defend against viruses, hackers, spyware and other security attacks. AS Anti-Virus is not well-known in China. We will follow the tips below to try it out.

I. Software Installation

The installation of AS Anti-Virus is very fast. In less than one minute, figure (2) shows that the program is being installed.

2. software function experience

AS Anti-Virus provides functions such AS Virus defense, computer cleanup, file encryption, thorough deletion, Comprehensive scanning, and dual update. On the interface, the AS Anti-Virus function is divided into six parts: full protection, Comprehensive scanning, dual update report, and service.

1. Full protection

AS Anti-Virus provides file protection, email protection, insecure website monitoring, pre-protection, and password input protection, AS shown in (7:

File Protection automatically scans hard disks, memory, and files stored in Removable storage. Prevents viruses and hacker attacks.

Email protection automatically scans all received and sent emails to prevent viruses, hackers, and other security threats.

Insecure website monitoring automatically monitors dangerous and false websites and warns users to avoid potential security threats.

Pre-defense automatically protects your computer system from internal and external hacker attacks and other potential unknown threats.

Password Input protection: When logging on to any program (including online transactions, online banking, and email), password input protection (PEPG) automatically protects your entered password in real time.

In addition to basic protection, the AS Anti-Virus full protection menu also provides the computer cleaning, security encryption, and complete deletion functions.

Only Internet Explorer and system cleanup are supported, as shown in (8:

Windows System cleanup supports clearing the recycle bin, clearing the file records in the Start Menu, clearing the searching records in the resource manager, clearing the temporary system folders, and Windows System cleanup menu options, (10:

The cleanup function is very simple. It has no special features and does not even support registry cleanup. Software with such features is not inferior to software developed by individual authors in China.

The security encryption function can encrypt and compress files into a self-extracting file (*. exe). You can add, encrypt, and encrypt files in the encryption menu, as shown in (11:

2. Comprehensive scanning

Comprehensive scanning has four scanning options: My computer, boot object, key areas, and underlying projects. My computer includes all disks and optical drives, as shown in (16:

The scanning options of AS Anti-Virus are messy. There are many repeated items in different scanning methods, which may be due to regional differences, it is not as easy to use as the fast scanning, full scanning, and custom scanning classification methods of domestic anti-Soft products.

AS Anti-Virus is not doing well in Virus detection and removal. In a February Virus package, AS Anti-Virus only kills three viruses, AS shown in (20:

Using Kingsoft antivirus to scan the Virus package that has been scanned by AS Anti-Virus, 97 viruses are still scanned, AS shown in (21:

It may be "unacceptable". AS Anti-Virus does not catch a cold Virus in China, and the detection and removal rate is far lower than that of free Anti-Virus in China.
