All domain names registered with Godaddy provide a free 10 Gb space. Although there are advertisements and functional limitations, it is good to store files, godaddy, as the world's first domain name registrar, is still trustworthy. Since many of my friends do not use free space for Godaddy domain names, I wrote a concise tutorial, which is actually very simple. I also want to learn how to sell it now, fresh!
1. Go to your Godaddy account and click hosting-My hosting account in the navigation bar. If you have not enabled your free space, you will see this
2. Click use credit. You will see this.
As for Windows host or Linux host, I chose Linux host.
3. Click "continue" and you will see this
You should be different from me because I have two domain names in Godaddy. Click "setup account" to start installation.
Let alone this. Next step .......... This is free space. It means 10 Gb space. GB traffic is scary.
There are three options in the installation process:
This domain is currently active. I want to leave my settings unchanged while I prepare my new hosting account (recommended ).
This domain is inactive or not in use. I want to point my domain to my new hosting account immediately.
This domain is active, but I want to relocate my site now. Note: downtime will occur while you prepare your new site.
Select the second one.
The following message is displayed:
Wait. You are creating the bucket. After the bucket is created, you can go to the Godaddy Space Control Panel.
Now we have finished the process. Finally, let's talk about how to create a subdomain name. Click your domains in the control panel.
Click Add. Note that it is not the Add domains above, and then you will see this
Click Add subdomain and you will see this
After that, we finally finished. The rest of the figure is waiting to take effect. Please remind us not to forget to bind your subdomain name to the IP address of the free space. The IP address can be seen on the control panel, hope to help you
