Kloxo is a very powerful and open-source free host control panel outside China. it is easy to install and has complete functions. it has most of the functions of DirectAdmin control panel, which can be used with AWBS, WHMCS, HostBill, and other financial sales panels are integrated to build an IDC sales and maintenance platform. Kloxo currently supports CentOS and RedHatEL5.x operating systems

Kloxo currently supports CentOS and Red Hat EL 5. x operating system. Currently, CentOS6.x is not supported. the configured VPS server environment is LAMP, that is, Apache, MySQL, and PHP in Linux. if you want LNMP, you can install LNMP (Nginx, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin) you cannot select Kloxo.

Although Kloxo is an English host control panel, the definition package of Kloxo is quite complete. we only need to execute a line of command after installing Kloxo to write the definition of Kloxo control panel.

Latest Kloxo host control panel installation and Chinese graphic tutorial

I. preparations before Kloxo is successfully installed

1. Kloxo can be successfully installed on CentOS and Red Hat EL 5.x operating systems, but not CentOS6.x. Here, the tribe is installed in the Linode VPS. first, reinstall the system.

2. the VPS system requires at least MB of memory and 2 GB of hard disk capacity. if you are using manual partitioning, ensure that/tmp has a larger capacity, because Kloxo requires a large number of temporary files to be stored during installation.

3. disable SELinux. Run the/usr/sbin/sestatus command to check whether the command is disabled.

4. if not, run vim/etc/sysconfig/selinux and edit selinux = disabled to save the settings.

5. the progress may not be displayed during Kloxo installation. at this time, you must be patient. Generally, you will enter the next installation after a dozen or more minutes.

6. to ensure successful installation, run the following command to remove unnecessary components.

Rpm-qa | grep Mysql
Yum remove mysql
Rpm-qa | grep httpd
Yum remove httpd
Rpm-qa | grep php
Yum remove php

II. one-click installation of the Kloxo host control panel

1. log on to the VPS host using Root, and run the following command to install the Kloxo host control panel.

Yum install screen
Screen-S kloxo
Wget http://download.lxcenter.org/download/kloxo/production/kloxo-installer.sh
Sh./kloxo-installer.sh -- type = master

2. Kloxo automatically checks whether the VPS has the conditions for normal installation. after confirming the conditions are correct, press any key to start installation.

3. because the Kloxo installation process may be long, if you want to go to the toilet or have A meal, you need to disable the SSH connection. Press Ctrl and A at the same time, and then press D, close SSH.

4. when it returns to the working status again, enter SSH, execute screen ls to list the screen process of VPS, and then execute screen? R number.

5. in this way, you can continue to see the Kloxo installation process. during The Kloxo installation process, you must enter the password and Y for confirmation. you can press enter directly.

6. it took about half an hour to install Kloxo in Linode VPS. Finally, run the following command to complete Kloxo installation.

Yum install php-bcmath
Yum install php-mbstring
Yum check-update
Yum update
Yum clean all

PS: updated on January 1, July 26, 2013,Thanks to the reminder from the "yhyl.info" blogger, the FTP on the Kloxo panel can be used instead of after Kloxo is installed. to enable it on our own, we only need to modify the pureftp configuration.

Edit the/etc/xinetd. d/pureftp file and replace it with the following content:

[Root] # service xinetd restart

At this time, FTP login should be OK

III. Kloxo host control panel logon management

1. after the Kloxo panel is installed, open the background management address of the Kloxo panel in the form of http: // your IP: 7778. the default user and password for the first login are admin.

2. after logging on to Kloxo for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password.

3. this is the English interface of the Kloxo host control panel. the options on the left are Server, domain name, and resource, and the specific operations on the right are powerful functions. (Click to enlarge)

IV. quick localization of Kloxo host control panel

1. log on to SSH and run the following command to download and decompress the Kloxo Chinese package. the file is already on my Godaddy host.

Unzip kloxo_cn_pack.zip

2. log on to Kloxo. in general settings of advanced, select Chinese as the language.

5. solve the problem that the IP address cannot be found in the Kloxo host control panel

1. after Kloxo is installed on Linode VPS, the message "Alert: no_ip_address" is displayed, because LinodeVPS automatically obtains the IP address through DHCP by default, therefore, when Kloxo is installed, the no_ip_address prompt is displayed. in this case, you need to manually set the IP address.

2. run the following command to edit the Nic information. Eth0 is your Nic. if you have multiple NICs, it is ethX .......

Vim/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

3. add the following code to the configuration. IPADDR is the IP address of your VPS host, NETMASK is the subnet mask, and GATEWAY is the GATEWAY.

4. Linode needs to know its own VPS Gateway, which can be viewed in the management remote connection of Linode.

5. finally, run the restart network command.

VI. Kloxo panel installation summary

1. when installing Kloxo, the tribe encountered a problem when installing Kloxo for the first time. However, it found that this was not a "card", but did not display the installation information interface, so wait patiently.

2. in addition to the VPS host management panel used to build your own website, the Kloxo panel can also be integrated with some sales systems to automatically activate hosts. Of course, if you are willing to spend money, you should choose a payment control panel such as DA and Cpanel.
