Completely remove Oracle under Linux

One, stop Oracle database service

Shutdown immediate;

Second, stop monitoring services

Lsnrctl stop

Iii. uninstalling a DB instance with the DBCA command

Iv. Delete the three files under/usr/local/bin

Rm–rf/usr/local/bin/coraenv

Rm–rf/usr/local/bin/dbhome

Rm–rf/usr/local/bin/oraenv

V. Delete two files under/etc

Ls–lt|grep Ora

Rm–rf/etc/orainst.loc

Rm–rf/etc/oratab

Vi. Delete a directory under/OPT

RM–RF Orclfmap

Vii. Delete all files under the Oracle installation folder

cd/home/oracle/

RM–RF *

Viii. Deleting users

Userdel–r Oracle

Ix. Deleting a group

Groupdel Oinstall

Groupdel DBA
