There are still many things worth learning about in the cat6 cabling system, especially in the actual construction phase. To avoid these problems, we should make sufficient preparations before construction, in particular, pay more attention to problems.
This year, the TIA/EIA committee officially released the sixth class cabling system standard number: ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1), TIA568B has truly become a network that can fully meet the current situation of development, the basic standard set for network construction. Despite the ever-changing development of the network, as for network construction, when Gigabit Networks are about to become a common demand for network construction, as the skeleton of the network, the release of the six standards can be said to be the timely rain of Gigabit Networks, it laid a solid foundation for the construction of a new generation of Network Based on Gigabit Ethernet in the physical layer.
The six-class cabling system provides a high-speed bandwidth of 2.5 times higher than that of the five categories, and a ACR value of 300% times higher than that of the five categories at MHz. In terms of construction and installation, Category 6 is much more difficult than Category 5.
Construction personnel of cat6 cabling systems must comply with international standards. The more advanced copper cables are, the more sensitive they are to external exceptions. As the transmission rate increases, the installation and construction will affect the system performance ". Unreasonable pipeline design, nonstandard installation steps, and inadequate management systems will affect the testing results of the six types of cabling systems, including physical and electrical properties, in addition, some may become difficult to repair faults, and even only one link can be re-laid for replacement.
Since the launch of cat6 cabling systems, the strong network has accumulated a lot of experience in field construction. The strong network company pointed out that enterprises should pay attention to the following six precautions during construction.
Note:
Because the outer diameter of cat6 cables is thicker than that of cat-5e cables, in order to avoid the winding of cables, especially at the elbow, the fill degree of diameter must be paid attention to during pipeline design, generally, it is recommended that the pipe with an internal diameter of 20mm be placed with two cat6 cables.
Note 2
Reasonable cable tray design ensures proper cable bending radius. When you bypass other cable slots from top to bottom, the turning slope should be gentle. Pay attention to whether the cables at both ends can be covered with the cover plate without pressure loss.
Note 3
In the wire laying process, we mainly pay attention to the control of tension. For cables packed with reels, we recommend that at least one worker be arranged at both ends to put the sleeve on the self-made wire rod, the laying end workers first pre-pull some cables from the scroll box for the collaborators to extract the cables from the other end of the pipeline. The pre-drawn lines should not be too many to avoid tangle of multiple cables on the ground.
Note 4
After the wire pulling process ends, the redundant cables at both ends should be organized and protected. When the wire is laid, the original orientation should be followed. The diameter of the coil should not be too small, if possible, use the waste wire head to be fixed on the bridge, ceiling or in the carton. Make a note to remind other personnel not to step on.
Note 5
During cabling, bundling, and cable placement, the redundant cables should not be too long. Do not overlay the cables. The coils should be winding and fixed cables should not be too tight.
Note 6
During the entire construction period, the technical process should be notified in a timely manner, and the persons in charge of various types of work should communicate with each other. If any problem is found, Party A should be notified immediately to complete the tasks of other types of work in a timely manner before other types of work begin.
