Configuration implementation-Experiences in improving software development efficiency

Background: two projects, one for Intranet management and one for website generation (static html is required) and the other for pure information management, have been taken over since March.

For both projects, the normal computing manpower should be around 5 persons and months (both of them are around 0.2 million ).

However, there are only four people on my side (one artist and three developers). I have to take two projects into account, and one developer is responsible for one project.

This time, my configuration has played a huge role in implementing information management, workflows, and website content generation static html.

More than two weeks have passed, and both projects have gone beyond the expected progress. It is expected that the two projects will be basically developed at the end of the month.

I am so excited that I am doing something that can improve efficiency and save manpower!

Experience in improving development efficiency:

1. All management lists of the system can be implemented using existing implementations using xml configuration

2. The system edits a single table (other tables can be displayed, or the field value can be in another configuration table), but it only adds, deletes, and modifies the table. You can also use xml configuration to add, delete, modify, and delete the table.

3. All detailed interfaces of the system can be implemented using existing implementations using xml configuration.

4. The system website front-end interface or print preview interface can all be implemented using the implemented HTML template and xml configuration.

This Monday, I demonstrated the project of pure information management, which was recognized by the user.

Two developers, with one week's development time (basically no overtime at night), concluded that one person made two editing pages. The xml configuration on these four editing interfaces cannot be solved, you have to write it yourself.ProgramTo control and implement.

1. the system management function is ready-to-use. You only need to adjust the Chinese characters of the field names in XML as needed.

2. The system manages more than 40 functional points in the list, query list, statistics, and analysis graph, all of which are implemented using xml configuration.

3. add, delete, modify, and query of basic data in the system. More than 10 functional points should be configured in XML as much as possible.

4. Detailed information is displayed and printed in the system. For more than 10 functional points, xml configuration is used.
