NFS is a Web FileSystem network file system developed by Sun that is equivalent to a win mapped network drive that can "mount" a directory on an NFS server to a local directory on a local machine.
The NFS configuration file is:/etc/exports [' eksp2rt] output, export
Vi/etc/exports:/home/dir_to_exported clients_nfs (rw, sync and other sharing options)
In fact, the configuration and use of NFS shares is the same as the idea and procedure of using smbclient or mount to make Linux share Windows shared folders.
- Most of these services are usually C/s mode (Web service is b/s mode), first configure the appropriate services on the server, and then the client through the corresponding client software (such as browser, Xshell, FTP, Telnet, etc.) to access.
- You know, almost all of the services on Linux (server/server Software) are command-line (configuration is based on various conf files), basically, you do not see the X graphical interface of the service . However, only the win Service (Service software program) will have a graphical interface. For example, Win server 200? The configuration of the various servers is configured using the "Wizard" graphical interface.
- And the client on Lin's service is almost the command line.
- With NFS, first configure the NFS service on the server and start the NFS service. Then, mount directly on the client machine, just like sharing a folder on win, except for the type of-t that you use:
mount -t nfs -o 10.1.1.1:/share /mnt/share
