Configuration of davmail Server

Because ubuntu unity is required, you can only use the server version. workstation is not supported.

The following command can uninstall the workstation version.

Sudo dpkg-r davmail

Download http://davmail.sourceforge.net/download.html here

Files for server standalone: davmail-3.9.8-1921.zip

Decompress the package and put it in the/usr directory.

Create the davmail. properties file in the/usr/davmail-3.9.8-1921 with the following content:

Open the sh script execution permission

Chmod + X./davmail. Sh

Start the service:

Nohup./davmail. Sh./davmail. Properties &

Do not change the Thunderbird settings in the previous article. Start Thunderbird and you can send and receive emails normally.
