Previous: Enable Routing
View static route tables
As we mentioned earlier, in a small network, the Administrator manually adds, modifies, and deletes entries in the route table, for example, adding a router to the network, the administrator needs to manually add the vro entryRoute table.
Choose Start> program> Administrative Tools> route and remote access, expand the server, expand IP Route Selection, and select static route table ", right-click and select "show IP Route Selection table ". 5-9 and 5-10 are shown. Table 5-1 shows the static route parameters.

Manually add a route entry
To ensure that each network segment can communicate with each other, the routing table of each static router must contain information about other routers in the network. At the same time, you can set the route table hops to determine the optimal path.
Tip: Generally, the first several IP addresses in a subnet are allocated to the interfaces of each vro. For example, in the 192.168.5.10 subnet, 192.168.5.1 is allocated to the vro interface.
1) choose Start> program> Administrative Tools> route and remote access, expand the server, and expand IP route selection ", select Static Routing, right-click, and select Static Routing ". As shown in Figure 5-9.
2) enter the target network address, subnet mask, gateway, and hops, and click OK ". 5-11 and 5-12 are shown.
