Configuration of the switch when IP telephony is connected to the network

When IP telephony is connected to the network, the Huawei switch is differentiated from the Cisco switch;

When the Huawei switch is connected to the IP phone, no other configuration is required, and the IP phone is just like the normal terminal, only need to configure the corresponding access configuration, and divide the VLAN normally.

Cisco switches are different. When a Cisco switch accesses an IP phone, it needs to add the port to the Voice VLAN, in addition to configuring the access port to partition the VLAN;

The configuration is as follows:

Interface G0/1

Switchport mode access

Switchport Access VLAN 100

switchport Voice VLAN
