Configure and implement DNS after bind is installed in Linux

 

When the host that serves as the DNS server accesses itself through the domain name, ping myself.mydomain.com to fail to connect, and the prompt "unknown host" is displayed. When you ping other machines, you can ping you.mydomain.com.

It is suggested that the bind will resolve the domain name when it finds that it accesses itself through the domain name. The solution is to add the name of the DNS server to the/etc/hosts file.
