Configure android again in eclipse

Source: Internet

Yesterday, I changed the system to Windows 7. After the installation, I sorted out the hard disk and deleted unnecessary programs that I could no longer use on the d disk. As a result, I owe a hand, I also deleted the android SDK installation folder. I thought about it and re-installed it again to get a better impression.

Reading installation tutorials from the Internet is also very simple, but it takes a long time to install it for the first time. There are a lot of problems. I don't remember how I installed it myself. Fortunately, I have been here from the beginning.

First, I downloaded the android SDK from the Internet. This time the android SDK is 2.3. It was originally installed with 2.2. Now that it is new, of course the latest version is used.

After decompression, the decompression location is no longer the original location where the SDK is stored. Double-click the SDK manager.exe in it. After the interface is displayed, you will be prompted to install it directly, which is smooth, there is nothing to connect.

After installation, open eclipse. Eclipse is not reinstalled, because it is green and can be opened directly. The original 2.2 plug-in. After opening the SDK, I found that all the android programs in it were incorrectly displayed. I thought I had changed the SDK storage location, so I changed the android SDK location in Windows-> perference, after writing the current SDK folder path, the system prompts cocould not find ...... /Adb.exe! Dizzy. Look at this stuff in the folder. The online search results indicate that the ADT and SDK versions do not match or that the path is incorrect. The path must be correct. That is not the case where the ADT and SDK versions do not match, there is an article about upgrading the android plug-in eclipse. OK. Just like what I want to do, upgrade ing ......

The upgrade was successful, and most of the programs were normal.

But there are a few errors, still with a Red Cross, read the prompt, said to configure build path, good, on the right of the Project Build path, I found that the android package has not been loaded in the build path, and I don't know why. I can't add it, but I can't change it. Later, I clicked to Android and found that I didn't select the Project Build target, and I selected one. After OK, everything was really OK.

I have read many documents about how to configure the PATH variable in the system variables. I don't have any configuration, and I don't feel necessary.

The procedure is simple:

1. Download the android SDK, decompress it, install it with SDK manager.exe, and configure the virtual machine.

2, in eclipse directly with help-> install new software or check for updates, add the web site https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ (Note: The original HTTPS this Web site can not connect, so use http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse, but this time I found that both of them can be connected, but I installed them on a web site without S ). Select this URL and select all of the listed options. You can install it.

3. In Windows-> perference, click android to set the android SDK location.

All right, you can see the android documentation for others.
