Configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux6.5 64-bit with VM virtual machine installation
Preparation environment:
Operating system: Windows7
Virtual machine Software: VMware WorkStation 12
Image file: Red Hat Enterprise 6.5 X86_64.iso
1. First click on "File"-"New virtual machine" on the VMware Workstation 12 menu bar or click on the home page to create a new virtual machine
2. In the New Virtual Machine Wizard, select Custom
3. Click Next Directly
4. Select Install later
5. Select the type of the client operating system as "Linux", the version is "Red Hat Enterprise Linux6 64-bit", and then click the Next button
6. The name of the virtual machine can be customized, Then select the installation location (it is recommended to create a stand-alone folder), click the Next button after selecting the installation location

9.Vmware virtual machine provides users with three network modes, which are bridge mode, network address translation mode (NAT), and host-only mode.
Bridging mode: the equivalent of building a bridge between the physical host and the virtual machine NIC, which allows access to the extranet through the network card of the physical host.
Network Address translation mode (NAT): Let the VMware Virtual Machine Network Service play the role of the router, so that the host through the virtual machine software simulation can access the external network through the physical host, NAT virtual machine network card in the real machine the corresponding physical network card is VMnet8.
Host-only mode: Only the host in the virtual machine communicates with the physical host and cannot access the external network, the physical network card corresponding to the host-mode emulation NIC in the real machine is VMnet1.

15. Select Custom Hardware to configure.
16. The optical drive device should now select the downloaded rhel system image file in the "Use ISO image file" and remove all unwanted devices such as sound card, printer device, etc. Then click the Close button
17. Go back to the Virtual Machine Configuration Wizard interface and click the "Finish" button.
18. The installation and configuration of the virtual machine is completed successfully. When you see the interface shown, it means that your virtual machine has been configured successfully.
