We have installed two mailbox servers and two CAS servers. The following describes how to achieve high availability of the mailbox role.

The high availability of the mailbox role has started to adopt the Dag method since 2010, which has also been preserved in exchange 2013, the Dag configuration in exchange 2013 is implemented in EAC (exchange admin Center), that is, in the previous ECP. Exchange 2013 has canceled the Management Console of the client.

1. log onto ECP, click the server, find the data availability group, and click the plus sign below

7. Add two mailbox servers to the group and grant the full control permission. Otherwise, an error may be reported during subsequent operations.

8. Set Dag properties and select to manually configure the Database Availability group network

10. Enter the network name and set a separate CIDR block. This CIDR block is used to detect the Dag. Therefore, a separate CIDR block is required. In addition, it is best to disable broadcast and other services to reduce interference.

11. In ECP, click mailbox01 database to add a database copy.

12. Set mailbox01 as a copy.
