Configure IIS6 to solve the "this page cannot be found" error when running Asp.net MVC Project

When IIS6 runs the Asp.net MVC project, if the "this page cannot be found" prompt is displayed, that is, the 404 error, it may be that IIS is not set. follow the steps below to solve the problem:

Open the IIS manager, right-click the corresponding website node, and select the "properties" shortcut menu. In the displayed Properties dialog box, select the "main directory" tab, and click the "configuration" button. In the displayed applicationProgramOn the ing tab of the configuration dialog box, click "insert". In the displayed Add/edit application extension ing dialog box, click "Browse" to browse and select the execution program of Asp.net. For example:

C:/Windows/Microsoft. NET/framework/v2.0.50727/aspnet_isapi.dll

Remove the "check whether the file exists" option and click "OK" to exit the dialog box.
