Configure lumisoft mail server to send messages to an Internet mailbox

With the support of the company's leadership, I started to study lumisoft mail server in my spare time, with the aim of developing my own server based on this mail server, this provides technical support for office automation system development and website construction.

I have studied the functions and source code of lumisoft mail server for some time. I encountered a small problem when applying the LM server function. I will give up for nearly a week, fortunately, I always believe that "stick to it again ". Finally, the error "550 5.7.1 unable to relay for XXX" in lumisoft mail server is solved ".

"The mountains are full of doubts and no way is left blank." This evening, we successfully used the lumisoft mail server to send emails to the Internet mailbox. Start lm Server Service. The server configuration is as follows:

1. Set DNS; otherwise, emails cannot be sent to the Internet.

2. Add the domain name gxsn.com. There must be a suffix domain name, not gxsn. Otherwise, Windows Live Mail considers the email address as incorrect and cannot be sent.

3. For relay mode, you must select "send mails directory using DNS"

4. relay to localhost is not allowed. I have seen it on the lumisoft Mail Server forum and need to disable it.

5. Create a user and an email address to send emails to the Internet mailbox.

In the end, I successfully used my mailbox server to send an email to my mailbox! Qq mail is used as spam and stored in the garbage bin! I still haven't figured out "how to avoid sending emails as spam" and "how to implement anti-spam functions". I am exploring ......
