./Configure: No such file or directory

Generally, read the readme and INSTALL files in the directory to show you how to INSTALL the software.

Here I know there may be two situations:

1. If configure is not found in the directory, but configure. am or configure. in exists, use the autoconf command to generate configure. The Code is as follows:

$ Cd (software name)-(version number)
$ Autoconf

2. The installation method of this software or library is not as follows,

$ Cd (software name)-(version number)
$./Configure
$ Make
$ Sudo make install

Read the readme file in the folder carefully and install it as needed!

3. autoconf needs to be installed separately. It is a sub-module of gnu.
