Configure Subversion server In Debian/Ubuntu

  • Install apache2

    # Sudo apt-Get install apache2
  • Install SVN # sudo apt-Get install subversion libapache2-svn
  • Configure the configuration file/etc/apache2/mod-available/dav_svn.conf of apache2 <location/SVN>
    Dav SVN
    Svnparentpath/opt/SVN/repos/
    Autotype basic
    Autoname "My respository"
    Autouserfile/opt/SVN/Password
    Require valid-user
    </Location>
  • Create a project directory # sudo svnadmin create/opt/SVN/repos/myproject
  • Create username and password # sudo htpasswd-C/opt/SVN/passwd unzip Huang (the second creation can cancel-C)
  • Make certain Apache modules effective # sudo a2enmod Dav dav_fs dav_svn
  • Load Apache # sudo/etc/init. d/apache2 force-Reload Note: after creating a project, run the following command: # sudo chown-r www-data: /opt/SVN/repos enables normal access to files in the project.
