Configure SVN server for MAC

The MAC already comes with SVN, so use it directly.

1. Create svn repository

Svnadmin create/path/svn/pro // repository location, svn is the svn directory, and pro is the directory of a version Library

PS: There is an ambiguity here. After adding SVN in this way, remember to use the/path/SVN path when starting the svn service, you cannot use the path/svn/pro. Otherwise, the doesn' t exist will be reported.

2. Configure svn user permissions.

The/path/svn/pro/conf/directory contains three files: authz, passwd, and svnserve. conf.

(1) Configure svnserve. conf

Replace

# Anon-access = read
# Auth-access = write
# Password-db = passwd
# Authz-db = authz

Remove the # sign before the four rows, and change anon-access = read to anon-access = none, so that anonymous access is prohibited.

PS: It should be noted that there is a space after #. You must remove this space and use the top space of the text. Otherwise, there will be errors.

(2) Configure passwd

It stores the user and password. For example, you can simply add the user and password according to its format.

(3) Configure authz

[Groups] is followed by user group settings. You can add users you set in passwd to different user groups. Then, you can set different permissions for different user groups, this prevents the trouble of setting multiple users. Multiple users are separated by commas. It can be done according to its example

Testgroups = test1, test2

Then, you can set permissions for different versions of the database. There is an example below, you can write it as needed. If you need to set permissions for all versions of the database, use. For example:

PS: The @ symbol must be used before the user group. If you are a user, you can directly write the user name. Rm indicates read/write. Obviously, read-only is r.

3. Start the SVN Service

Svnserve-d-r/path/svn note that the path must be the SVN directory, not the directory of one of the version libraries. Otherwise, it can be started properly, that is, there is a problem with access.

If no output exists, the startup is successful.

4. Start and Stop the service/restart

Directly Delete the process, kill-9 svnserve, and then start the service.

5. Test

Svn checkout svn: // 127.0.0.1/pro -- username = test1 -- password = 123./pro
