Apt-Get install language-support-ZH language-pack-ZH
After installing the Chinese package, go to Settings> system Settings> locale> Add ages
Add Simplified Chinese (what? You don't know which one is simplified Chinese? You can repeat the junior high school textbook and you will find it.) Then you will be prompted to cancel the change or something. Log Off/restart the course.
I used ibus for the Chinese input method. I originally wanted to install fcitx, but the compilation in kubuntu is not very powerful ..
If you are too tired, use ibus.
Apt-Get install ibus-pinyin (Language-support-ZH remember to install it)
Set-> ibus settings-> (the system prompts whether to enable or not the wood is enabled. Of course, select YES)-> (there will be a prompt under/home. if the bashrc file writes content, you can ignore this step if the input method is used successfully.) This prompt shows an icon in the lower right corner. Right-click preferences-> input method-> select Chinese-Pinyin and add it. close
2. gnome version
Root @ BT :~ # Apt-Get install language-pack-gnome-ZH-base language-pack-ZH-base language-Selector
Remember to install the language-selector. Otherwise, the menu cannot be found, and then set it in the menu.
Then reboot will be OK.
Question about Chinese Input
Root @ BT :~ # Echo lc_ctype = \ "zh_CN.UTF-8 \">/etc/environment
Root @ BT :~ # Apt-Get install scim-tables-ZH # Five
Root @ BT :~ # Apt-Get install scim-pinyin # select either pinyin or pinyin.
