Configuring Checkstyle in Eclipse

1. Installing Checkstyle

Open Eclipse>>help>>eclipse Marketplace. Enter Checkstyle in search, locate the corresponding file, and click Install. Restart Eclipse when the installation is complete.
2. Configure Checkstyle

Open Windows>>preferences>>checkstyle in Eclipse, click New, create a new option profile for your Checkstyle to check.

When the new is complete, select the row with your mouse, and then click Set as Default on the right.

Click Configure or double-click the profile to enter the specific configuration options selection interface. The menu item on the left, if it has a green checkmark, means that we have added it to the check. To add a configuration item, simply click the Add button below and select OK and the submenu item will appear in the right area. You can then configure the specific item by ticking the check box.
3. Activating Checkstyle

Right-click on the project name >>properties, point Checkstyle. Tick Checkstyle active for this project to implement the automatic activation Checkstyle. Note To choose the configuration file you want Ah, do not change the word is the previous step set as default that.
