1. Install SVN
I am using tortoisesvn-1.9.4.27285-x64-svn-1.9.4, the installation process should be noted that the default installation does not select "command line client Tools", here need to choose.
2. Install the "Svntoolbox" plugin in Webstorm2016
(1) Open Webstorm2016, select "File >> Settings ..." in the menu;
(2) Click "Plugins" and click "Browse repositories" button;
(3) Search "SVN", then click "Svntoolbox" in the search results, click "Install" button;;
(4) "Restart Webstorm" after the installation is complete;
(5) After the correct installation, re-enter the Webstorm2016, select "File >> Settings ... >> Version Control", you can see there are more subversion settings, here we use the default;
3. Use of the "Svntoolbox" plugin
(1) If your project is an SVN controlled project, then right-click on the project root of the webstorm, you can see the Subversion context menu, select the corresponding SVN function operation to the project operation;
(2) In the Code editing window of the project, right-click, you can do SVN upload the code files and so on. Here we modify the code, right-click in the Code editing window, and then click "Subversion >> Commit File ...";
(3) Select the modified code file and click the "Commit" button;
(4) Prompt commit success;
