Configuring the Cisco router Telnet login

Before we learned how to use the console port to login to the router console, this way we need to go to the computer room to connect the router every time. Router provides us with the telnet function, we can be in the LAN through the IP connection to the router configuration, do not have to go to the computer room every time.

Yong1>enable

yong1#

Yong1 (config) #line vty 0 4

yong1 (config-line) # Password Guoyong      ' Set telnet line password                                     

Yong1 (config-line) #exit ' the above for review  

Yong1 (config) #enable secret guoyong ' Set Enable Password

The above is the setup port and telnet password and enable

Yong1 (config) #interface gigabitethernet 0/0 ' Enter S0 Port   

Yong1 (config-if) #ip address 192.168.12.2 255.255.255.0; Set IP address and subnet mask

Yong1 (config-if) #no shutdown ' Port link layer open    

Configure Port IP Ports, we use the client to ping the router's port

     we use to telnet router and of course we're still using putty. on one router. telnet
