Configuring Tomcat in MyEclipse

Foreword: Because the myeclipse comes with the Tomcat feature is not perfect, and can not better clear the server cache, it is not easy to transparently view the various operational status of Tomcat server

So, we need to download our own extracted tomcat into the myeclipse.

Steps:

1. First we open the MyEclipse and go to preferences window-perference: as shown:

2. Then enter "Tomcat" in the Text filter box to automatically display the filter results

3. Select your own version of the Tomcat installed in the search list, then add the installation path and set the upper status to enable

4, set the JDK corresponding to the JDK you want to use (typically the JDK version you installed)

5. Set the MyEclipse's tomcat status to disable
