2. Environment
vm9.0
Rhel-server-6.0-x86_64-dvd.iso
Vmare Tools is installed
The optical drive is set and the disc is inserted.
3. Operation procedure
The default mount point for VMS after inserting a disc is/media/rhel_6.0 x86_64 Disc 1
Under/etc/yum.repos.d/, create a new file Rhel-debuginfo.repo and enter the following:
[Rhel-debuginfo]
name=red Hat Enterprise Linux $releasever-$basearch-debug
Baseurl=file:///media/rhel_6.0\ x86_64\ disc\ 1
Enabled=1
Gpgcheck=1
Gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/rpm-gpg-key-redhat-release
Save File
Enter the following command to the command line
Yum Clean All
The following prompt appears
Loaded Plugins:refresh-packagekit, Rhnplugin
Cleaning up everything
It can then be installed, for example
Yum Install dump
