Database Character Set encoding

Your database and JDBC data source connections must be configured to use UTF-8 encoding (or to develop the correct UTF-8 coded character set based on the database you have configured, such as Al32utf8 in Oracle). There are also multiple checks in confluence to make sure that your database is also using the UTF-8 encoding.
