Confluence 6 Oracle Test your database connection

In your database setup interface, there is a test connection button to check:

  • Confluence can connect to your database server

  • Database character set encoding is correct

  • Whether your database user has the required permissions

  • Your database user does not have the SELECT any TABLE permission assigned to it

Once the above test is successful, click Next to proceed with the confluence installation process.
