Connect Oracle 11g R2 RAC ORA-12545 with Plsql DEV

Problem reason: No domain name server configuration, directly modify the hosts, resulting in the Oracle server host name can not be resolved, this is 11.2.0.1 small bug

Workaround: Copy the domain name mapping from the Oracle server hosts to the hosts file in the Plsql Dev computer.

For example:
192.168.1.231 Scan-cluster.localdomain Scan-cluster
192.168.1.232 Oraclerac01.localdomain ORACLERAC01
192.168.1.234 Oraclerac01-vip.localdomain ORACLERAC01-VIP
10.10.1.232 Oraclerac01-priv.localdomain Oraclerac01-priv
192.168.1.233 Oraclerac02.localdomain ORACLERAC02
192.168.1.235 Oraclerac02-vip.localdomain ORACLERAC02-VIP
