Connect to SecureCRT and ftp for file transfer on Win7 VMware Ubuntu Virtual Machine

1. There is no problem with installing VMware. The network settings are in NAT mode (VMnet8 is the dedicated virtual network card of vmware ). After the installation is complete, set the VirtualNetworkEditor of the Virtual Machine (you can start again-> all programs are found in the VMware installation folder). WMnet8 cannot be in the same network segment as the PC host.

Set the IP address. The network connection setting in Ubuntu is automatically obtained.

Ubuntu can be connected to the Internet, while Windows 7 can be pinged to ubuntu, but ubuntu cannot be pinged to WIN7. the powerful google knows that ubuntu firewall needs to be disabled.

Pay attention to permissions. Ping each other to obtain the IP address of ubuntu as ifconfig.
