Connection between MySQL and Navicat and MySQLNavicat

I recently used the MySQL database in the Struts project. Based on my previous experiences in BS and CS projects, I had to install MySQL first and thought of the embarrassment of installing sqlserver, but this time, the instructor told me that you only need to extract the MySQL file and use navicat for connection.

The following describes the connection steps.

1. First you need to have a MySQL compressed package, you can download it online, I am here to use mysql-5.6.19-winx64.

2. decompress the package and select any path.

3. download and install the navicat tool. I am using Navicat_Premium_11.0.10.

4. Enable the MySQL service and open the cmd window as an administrator:

5. Find the MySQL decompression path. Here is the E disk.

6. install the MySQL service: MySQL-install, and enable the MySQL service: net start MySQL.

Finally, open navicat and connect:
