Considerations for installing and configuring MySQL instances

First download the MySQL installation package, and then install it step by default.

In the last step, check the instance Configuration box. Remember to select it.

After the installation is complete, the instance Configuration Wizard will pop up and click OK to start configuring MySQL.

In this step, we recommend that you select the "complete" mode, that is, do not install all the components as follows.

The number of connections, which is developed on the local machine, does not affect the number of connections.

We do not recommend that you add exceptions to the firewall here. We recommend that you add exceptions to the firewall software; that is, do not select the ones circled in red below;
